A founding member of the Crusaders of Shadow and Light he now distances himself from what he sees as the poor shadow of the dream. For many years a respected member of the Spellcasters Guild, he worked his way up to Deputy-Guild master and introduced the Slightseer Outreach Programme to the citizens of Sarbreenar. He still gives up much of his time to encouraging apprentices to other mages, trying to develop trust between the citizens and the spellcasters, and acts a general font of information regarding the Spellcasters Guild. He was greatly disturbed in his deputy role when his views were ignored by the guild master and mages who had accidentally injured others while attempting to save Sarbreenar were demoted and ostracised within the guild. His greatest regret was his failure to save the life of Melgar and in fact being the cause of it through a desperately hurried spell. This led Mythic to immediately resign his role within the hierarchy of the guild, as he would have seen it as hypocritical to attempt to retain his role when other mages had been demoted for less. Melgar was subsequently raised but the experience left a permanently bitter taste in Mythic's mouth and led him to devote more time to research and his new love ... magical crafting. Today Mythic can be seen talking
to the people of Sarbreenar encouraging tolerance and understanding
of magic, or occasionally flying over the forests nearby with his
falcon familiar, Maggot. I City I Citizens I Region I News I Streetalk I Rules I Search I Home I |
